Okay, so what has happened over the past little while...
A new year means new beginnings, and with that I started a new job.
I was in the ERP field for 9 years and figured it was time for a change. I won't get into the details of how I got my new job, but what I am doing now is working in the oil patch for R&M Energy as an Area Sales Rep - Distributed products. I have actually always wanted to get into the Oil and Gas industry, and this is my chance. What I will be doing is a complete 180 from what I was doing before, so I am looking forward to it.
I thought this clip was hilarious...check it out !!
During the holidays I also picked up a new road bike. Never had one of these bad boys, rented one a few times, but never owned one.
Just picked up the pedals, shoes, and other accessories for it too. Looking forward to getting it on the road for the first time. Never riding a bike where I had to 'clip' into the pedals, I am sure I will fall over a few times until I get used to it.
With this day and age, doesn't the picture below sum up Xmas the past couple years (which is a complete joke) ?
I was also able to check out a few world junior hockey games during the holidays. I could watch these games all day, young kids out there trying to prove themselves and representing their country. Great hockey to watch.
I am outta here.
Ryder's Joke of the Day.
Caveman goes out to get supper. On his quest he finds a finch and kills it and puts it in his pouch. But he is not done. He also finds a chimpanzee, and kills it, throws it in his pouch and head back home. Upon entering his cave, he empties his pouch and says to his wife (cave-women), "It's supper time.." The wife comes and takes a look at what the husband brought back for supper and looks to him and says, "Oh man, not Finch and Chimps again ..."
